Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka, an American musician, songwriter, and singer and former model is best recognized as the half of the group Aly and AJ'. She also performs alongside her sister Aly Michalka. AJ was born in Torrance California and was influenced to become a singer by her mother Carrie. AJ spent the majority of her growing up in Torrance and also Seattle and Milwaukee. They started playing guitar and piano at the age of a child. They were already proficient in the field before they hit an adolescent age. AJ was only five years old at the time she began performing in church plays. AJ was also involved as a student in the school's musical productions. AJ first made an acting appearance in 2002 as an 11-year-old girl, with one small part in the television series 'Passions.'
